Reminder System

SMS Reminders

Secure Links

Easy Booking

Our doctors and nurses may send health-related reminders to support and enhance your ongoing care.

For example, if you have a cervical screening test at our practice, you will receive a reminder when your next screening is due (usually five years later).

We send reminders via text message to your mobile phone using a secure service called HotDoc. These messages will not include any practical details. Instead, they contain a secure link asking you to confirm your identity. Please do not dismiss these messages as spam or opt out of receiving them.

Once your identity has been verified, you will be able to view the details of your health reminder and book an appointment with your regular doctor directly from your mobile phone.

From time to time, we may also send important HotDoc messages asking you to make an appointment to discuss abnormal test results. Please ensure you follow up promptly if you receive one of these messages.
